My Husband & I were in a Long Distance Relationship for the majority of our relationship and we approached Marcus after seeing Fair Go recommended somewhere on Facebook, to see if he could help us with the VISA application (as it can be seemingly more complicated for LDR). We paid for the "Remote Consultation Fee" and spoke to Marcus who had sent us previous questions to answer. Marcus was thorough, helpful and generally great to speak to - he put our minds at ease and was very clear in what he said, making sure we understood and that any questions we had were answered, even sending over a consultation debrief email after with some of what we had discussed. The price that Fair Go was asking was more than reasonable for the time, effort and energy that they put into the work they do - it was just unfortunately out of our budget at that time (blame the rather hefty charge for moving a dog from the UK to AUS) so we only had the pleasure of dealing with Marcus for the Remote Consultation but we were really pleased with the service provided for that. We also received an email after I had moved to Australia from Fair Go to check in and find out how things had gone, which we really appreciated. Would highly recommend.

Joshua was very helpful and met with us online for an hour for a pre-consultation consultation lol. He didn't charge us anything for this and really helped us understand what direction we need to go in and things we need to do prior to lodging our partner visa. Their prices are a bit steep compared to a few other agencies we've looked in to. However, the fact they were so helpful and didn't ask for any money for our initial meeting put them towards the top of our list.

I got to know of the amazing and competent Marcus through a social media group and contacted him (among few others) regarding my complicated case. Right from the reply, I knew he was the right one for all my legal immigration purposes. However, the Migration Act changes more often. We charge a flat fee of $250 (GST included) for a consultation that usually lasts one hour.

- Consultation Stage – we discuss your options, seek any further information and answer your questions (about 1 hour).

REFUNDS & CANCELLATION
Please provide 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel or move an appointment. This will ensure appointments are made available to other customers. If you cancel within 24 hours of an appointment, we will not be able to refund your consultation fee. This reflects the cost incurred in preparing for your consultation, administrative costs and our potential loss of business in reserving your time slot.
An administrative fee of AUD $60.00 (GST Incl.) will be the minimum charge for other cancellations. Where the agent has spent time preparing for the consultation, reasonable fees will be charged to cover this cost (up to the maximum full cost of the consultation).

TERMS & CONDITIONS
When booking a consultation –
1. You agree that scope of services provided in the consultation is limited to the oral consultation and written summary of advice. The Registered Migration Agent (“Agent”) will not be expected (except where otherwise agreed) to provide updates on your individual migration matter or pathways.
2. You agree that the Agent will not be held responsible for changes in legislation, policy, administration or any other changes beyond the Agent’s control that occur after the written summary of advice has been issued.
3. You provide express consent for your Agent to conduct VEVO checks where required. VEVO is an online database managed by the Department of Home Affairs. A VEVO query will give your Agent quick access to critical information about your visa including expiry dates and conditions applicable to your visa. Where the Agent does not believe that it is in your best interest to conduct a VEVO query, the Agent will request this information in another way.
4. You agree that the Agent may provide to the Department of Home Affairs any requested information if and only if compelled by law.
5. If you arrive late to your consultation, there are no guarantees that you will get the full benefit of that consultation. This is in fairness to other clients that may follow your booking.
6. We reserve the right to re-book your consultation for a different time. We will only do this where absolutely necessary – for example, to allow for adequate preparation time.
7. You recognise that the consultation is to work out your eligibility for a particluar visa or to discuss complex issues. The Agent will not provide advice in relation to procedural aspects of preparing an application nor will they share documents checklists, templates or any other visa preparation material.
8. Consultations are capped to one extra person (in addition to the person who has booked the consultation) in attendance except where the Agent has consented otherwise. Advice will generally be restricted to one application, unless where the Agent has agreed otherwise.
