A great start to the new year for our client! Their Onshore Partner Visa was granted in just 4 months and 1 day.

The couple came to us early on in their journey. The applicant was in Australia on a Student Visa and had over half a year until the visa expired. Back then the couple were living separately and had to commute quite a way to see each other.

Timeline –

After much preparation, we lodged the application in early September 2021. We promptly obtained police checks and health checks. We received a request for the sponsor’s police check in late October 2021 (before we could provide this). We complied with the request in November 2021. After following up with the Department a number of times, the visa was granted in January 2022.
